I use GraphicsMagick on my Debian Linux machine and on my iMac. Personally my choice would be to have the Exif data on the back of a print but don’t know of any app that would automatically do this. I have quite a few photos from the early 2000’s taken by a Kodak camera that had the facility to do this in camera. Unless for a specific reason I suggest that you don’t do it. Haven't found a trick in Apple Photos to do that yet - any suggestions? Scrub that then - what about adding a pre-generated caption - such as a copyright detail that can be added to somewhere on the image JPEG - but so the font and size are identical each time?
